technology blog
Hello reader again, Today I will be talking about TECHNOLOGY. Technology is fine, this term we are doing sewing cushions or pillows or whatever you want to call it and our teacher is Ms Johansen and the substitute teacher is Ms McKnight. We design the pillow but I haven't really thought my design for the pillow or actually I think dragon scales would be amazing but I was thinking about video games or drawing, I DON'T KNOW and let's just move on. We were taught the drills of the sewing but very few people had the older model and it's much more different to the newer model which I, myself have it. I don't really know what to write, So i'll just end it here. That's all for now, See you later.

Hello reader again. For today I was working on my reading task and the teachers told us to make a blog of the reading task. So here I am, The book is called War in Waihi: The 1912 Goldminer's strike, and here is the reading task:
Speech blog
Hello reader again, I will be showing my speech about racism, so here it is:
Introduction.
First paragraph
What is racism?
Racism is a type of DISCRIMINATION, There are other ones like sexism, ageism and many more. But the one type that I will be talking about is racism. Racism is BAD and faulty, but what is racism? Racism is making fun of someone’s race, skin color or even their accents and tone and saying that one race is superior than the other. You can see it’s a massive problem in today’s society and around the world.
How can we stop it?
Second paragraph
We can be friends with colored people, help them or treat them dessert like an ice cream. Be friendly to them, whenever they are sad or upset about something, Comfort them and make them feel better about what they are crying about. BE AN UPSTANDER NOT A BYSTANDER, What I mean by those terms is that an Upstander is when they stand up for the victim. A bystander is the complete opposite obviously, It’s when you just let the victim getting bullied and let it just continue on, You get the idea, Let’s move on. Being an upstander starts by you, Then you tell your family and friends, Then the community, Then the government and then they will reach out across the world and It will really make a difference around the world because it’s all about unity right?
How it affects people?
Third Paragraph
Racism is faulty like I said in the first sub-topic, It’s one of mankind’s colossal problems, It’s all around the world. From making jokes about someone’s race to bombings just to kill innocent people who were praying in TRANQUILITY. Racism is imperfect and any other types of discrimination and if we don’t do something immediately then It will get worse. Who knows how it will get worse.
Brief History of racism
Fourth paragraph
We all know that racism had been here a long time. Let’s take a look at a brief history of Henry ‘Box’ Brown . He was born, enslaved on a Virginia tobacco plantation (an estate on which crops such as coffee, sugar, and tobacco are grown.)in 1815. Until at the age of 33 in 1849, He mailed himself into a wooden crate to a group of abolitionists to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his first words out of the box was “How ya doing, Gentlemen”. Then he traveled to England to become a professional Magician.
Other types of discrimination
Fifth and final paragraph
Let’s talk other types of racism. Firstly let’s talk about sexism, Sexism is another big problem other than racism...Actually I think all the other types of discrimination are a big problem. Sexism is when you make fun of the other gender and thinking that one gender is superior than the other. Ageism is when you make fun of someone’s age...LET'S MOVE ON. Ableism and Religious Discrimination is pretty similar to the sexism meaning but it’s about disability and religious stuff.
Thank you for listening to my speech. THE END

PBL Discrimination Art
Hello reader again, As you know our PBL focus is about Discrimination right? We had to do an art project about discrimination. You can do it on paper or at the Chromebook. I chose to do it on paper because...I like drawing. So I planned my art and I drew a cartoon version of me and an anime version of me. I drew a lot more symbols and one quote 'Achievement has no colour'. Unfortunately I can't show you my art (It looks amazing BTW) But I will edit this blog and show you once I have finished my art project about discrimination. That's all for now, here is my example
PBL Term 2 Blog
Hello again! I have just come back to school from the holidays and was amazing. Yesterday on the 29th of April was the start of Term 2 and also my little brother's first day of school. Anyway what we're talking about is the new PBL (Project Base Learning) and our driving questions 'How can we speak up against discrimination'. The word discrimination means unfair treatment of one person or a group of people. There are several types of discrimination, those are: Sexism, Racism, Ageism, Able-ism.
Quick Question: Have you ever experienced a discrimination.

Cross Country
Hello reader again and welcome back to another blog. Today I talking/writing about cross country. There was a lot of different age groups like Year 7 & 8, Year 1 & 2 and more. We practised running and we trained like we were DEDICATED to this. Us, the year 7 boys were doing exercises like lunges and bur-pees, We were the prime age for cross country. I was hoping I can make into the top 5 and got a card for going to the zones. So... the race started, I got really startled and started running like I was Sonic the hedgehog. Then I saw Quinn right in front of me and I was still holding 2nd place and I don't want to be out of the top 5. But I started getting tired and few other dudes started getting ahead of me and Brent and Joey were in front of me, They slowed down and walked with me but they started running and I was FATIGUED (Great word *claps*). Meanwhile I was on my last lap and 11-year old thought I'm not going to be in the zones... And So I finished and I didn't get a card. 😓 Just kidding, I GOT A CARD. I was worn out and needed a lot of water but that doesn't matter, THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS was I GOT A CARD (OK) Although I got a card, I didn't make it into Top 5. I made into 7th Place and I didn't care, All I care about is my card! I think that's all for now (This was an interesting blog) Bye reader.
Quick question : Have you ever ran 3 kilometres (Please tell me)
