Some activities included water activities, puzzles and just general fun activities. Depending on how you do well at the activity, depends on how many points you get. Limerick Poem blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking to you about my limerick poem about myself. In my reading workshop, we had to choose four types of poetry, those were Haiku, Limericks and many more that I didn't know, I chose the Limerick. For those who don't know what a limerick. It is basically a poem that has five lines and often humorous, but limericks is a special type of poetry. They have to follow a very specific pattern. So the first, second and fifth lines rhymes the same and the third and fourth line have their own rhyming pattern. So it is a very specific pattern. Anyways this is my poetry:
A William in a Billion
"There once was a boy named William
Who really had a lot of wisdom
He is from the Philippines
He likes to hangout under shady trees
But most people know that he is one of a billion"

Sport reflection blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking to you about Sport. The whole hub split into home-bases had a rotation of four sports. Those were Korfball, Softball, Cricket and Lawn Balls. I kind of enjoyed most of them. But the one that I particular enjoyed and liked was Korfball,  Korfball was a mix between basketball and netball. The person who taught Home-base 4 (including me)  the rules of Korfball, the two specific ones. The rules were never kick the ball and a defending rule. So you can do any basketball dribble moves you want. The people who were good at basketball (including me) was leading the team or the opposing team with dribble moves. Dribble moves like Shammgods, Crossover, Behind the back and Between the legs. It was fun, but the person/coach changed the rules (the person can make any rules). So he made us play basically netball. It was kind of fun but not as fun as the basketball rules. So my team won. Overall I had a fun time playing Korfball. That is all for now, see you later

We learnt the physical changes that will happen overtime to your body and specific changes specifically for boys or girls. That is all for now, See you later.

Week 2 Create Task Blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking to you about my create task on Term 4, Week 2. So we had to choose six different types of articles and text. I chose My Name Is Rez, She was Kurdish and also her family too. But the problem was that Kurdish people didn't have their own homeland, so they went through wars and countries. It was a region called Kurdistan, it was around Iran and Turkey. It was a bad life for them, but they went to New Zealand and at first they didn't know English. But as they live there, they start blending in now. It is based of a true story as well which was cool. That is all for now, see you later. Create Task

Making Connections: Create Task blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking about my create task for Week 5, term 4. So I had to choose five articles. They are Holi, Hanukkah, Scotland, A Traditional Irish Sport and Christmas in Columbia. I chose Christmas in Columbia because I am interested in Columbia's Christmas traditions. I learnt that 90% of Columbia's population is Catholic or Christian like Roman Catholic. Festivities begin on 7th of December and Columbia is recognised as the longest Christmas celebration period in the world. So here it is: Create task

Camp Reflection blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking about my camp reflection. So what I found challenging were the activities, Kayak Doubles, High Ropes and Orienteering. All of those activities were intense for me because Kayaks Doubles was on deep water and I am not that confident in deep water and also High Ropes because I am afraid of heights (acrophobia) and also Orienteering because I got a little off-course in the zone where you find symbols on isolated locations.

My favourites were Coasteering, Outdoor Living and Raft-building.

What I was thankful for was Coasteering because I went swimming in deep water and climbing in rocks.

The activity I learnt was Archery, I learnt the body of the bow and arrow and learnt how to aim properly. That is all for now, See you later.
