Ethics issue blog

Hello reader again, today I will be talking about my Ethics issue activity that I did with a group of four including me. The group members were me (obviously), Jude, Kade and Nathel and the question we decided on was 'Should we give robots the right to kill'. Obviously, you don't do that because what if you programmed a robot to kill but the robot doesn't know who to kill and who to kill specifically.
But anyways here is the document that my group and I did:
Should we give robots the right to kill?

  • No, because then they will start World War III
  • They might get addicted to it.
  • The robots might not know who to kill and they start shooting people especially innocent people.
  • We shouldn't because they can take over the world
  • If they started to kill we wouldn't stand a chance because they are indestructible
  • Short circuited
  • When they kill people they might kill bad people but they might think that they need to kill more people
  • If they kill they might kill more and people just for fun.
That's all for now, See you later.

PBL Driving Question BLOG

Hello reader again, Today I will be talking about our PBL driving question,  'What will the Future ask of us?' and we looked at some of the world's biggest problem like Global Warming and Climate Change. Last term we had to do a form on what will the PBL on term 3 looked like and I thought it was ambition and what do you want to be when you grow up.

The hub and I watched two videos of robots because we think that robots will take over our jobs because of technology. The first one we watched was Jimmy Fallon and a robot named Sophia sang 'Say Something' as a duet. The second one, we watched was a YouTube video called 'Which Jobs would you avoid and What jobs will get taken first?'. Then we did a Padlet about the difference of a human and a robot and what skillsets will we value in the future. I wrote some very good lines in my Padlet. That's all for now, See you later.

Novels blog

Hello reader again, Today I will be talking about the novel that a teacher has read for me and several more. It is called 'The Diary of Anne Frank' and it's based on a true story. It was about a girl in WWII and on her birthday, she got given a diary and that was her favourite present out of all the other presents and she went in hiding with her family and her dad's friend's family and in 1944, they betrayed by her dad's friend's family and died. This is my last blog in term 2, That's all for now, See you later. ;)

Breakout EDU

Hello reader again, Today I will be posting about this activity called Breakout EDU. So Breakout EDU is like a puzzle or a trivia game, the goal/aim is to find all of the codes, unlock five locks and unlock the prize in the box in the quickest time out of all the other groups. My group got 13 minutes and five seconds but I didn't know if we got the fastest record or not but anyways my question is Do you have the fastest record or not? That's all for now, See you later .______.

W5 Teacher Strike's blog

Hello reader, today I will be talking about the Teacher Strike day, so the teacher strike is when the teachers refuse to work at school because they weren't getting paid enough. So therefore the students have a day off while the teachers march from one destination to another destination. In my day off, I just stayed at my house and was playing on the PlayStation 4 Pro. That's all for now, See you later.
